It was called Stairway to Heaven when they showed it on TV here in the States in the early 70s. An absolute favorite! I love Pet's character in IKWIG.

Powell was a bloody genius, and I thank the Lord for Coppola and Scorsese allowing him to play Merlin in their Camelot when he was so badly in the wilderness for so long. Have you seen A Canterbury Tale? That's a weird one, but one I absolutely love too. (and from where Kubrick pinched his 2001 jump cut).

I spotted that about 20 some odd years ago and, through Dutch fan club channels, told the Mael brothers about it. They thanked us (my ex was the communicator, I was the spotter). That bit of info made it into the Sparks documentary Edgar Wright made. Always proud of that even though I don't get credited.

Have you seen A Canterbury Tale? That's a weird one, but one I absolutely love too. (and from where Kubrick pinched his 2001 jump cut).

I spotted that about 20 some odd years ago and, through Dutch fan club channels, told the Mael brothers about it. They thanked us (my ex was the communicator, I was the spotter). That bit of info made it into the Sparks documentary Edgar Wright made. Always proud of that even though I don't get credited.
