Restarted from the beginning, didn't hear much past the Bing Crosby novelty tune last week. The Lou Bandy Alice's Blue Gown is so lovely. Not just his vocal, the arrangement and playing very appropriate to the song's origin for being a 1955 version.

Another yay for Burt Shepard Parody On The Suwanee River. Entertaining and very interesting comments from 1902. And The Ramblers, from the Netherlands, at first I thought you had misidentified the famous California Ramblers, the early Dorsey Bros. band not knowing of the hard swinging Dutchmen.
